About The Wine
Fiano is one of the great white grapes of the world and often underappreciated for its deep complexity and ability to effortlessly improve with some time lying down. I’ve tasted a few that seemed like they were just bottled even ten years after the grapes were picked.
Raised in stainless steel vats, Mila’s rendition of one of Italy’s greatest indigenous white grapes reveals its birthplace. Exuberant aromas of sea air, her farm’s hazelnuts and the legendary sweet and highly aromatic lemons that decorate the Amalfi Coast swirl out of the glass. The palate crackles with electricity and leaves in its wake spice, salt, sweet lemon and zingy apple and pear notes. This wine proudly shows the muscle of the limestone and clay, and feels like two bottles of wine crammed into one.
