About The Wine
This wine was raised in stainless tanks, then racked into big 5,000 and 10,000-liter wooden casks for three months to try to temper the high level of crazy acid! As the name implies, this crazy wine is shockingly good and quite a lot of fun to drink. The mixture of vineyards comes from all over the south side of the Kremstal appellation, making it diverse and an all-around great snapshot of the region.
Notes of whole grain cookies, dried barley, hazelnut flour, and baking spices lead the aromas and flavors on the forefront, followed by tart lemon and spice. Its soft texture yet zippy acidity add up to a wine that’s entirely gulpable; at this price, you can afford to gulp away!
