Inside the bottle: This little Provençal rosé is not your ordinary pushover. Little darts of fresh, barely ripened red berries, soft citrus tones and the most elegant micro-herbs of tarragon and mint fill you nose before the first sip. Once it hits you palate, the zing of the nighttime air freshens up your tongue and leaves a wonderfully discreet savory white cream finish. This is classic, textbook alpine influenced Grenache and Cinsault rosé at its best! Syrah is also found in the blend, lending a little more spunk and depth to compliment these two air sign Provençal varietals. As you can see by the color, the time on the skins is short and used just to give the inviting texture and soft red fruit nose. Oh yeah, and minerality for days! A must for rosé drinkers!
Terroir: Limestone for days! On top of that ancient limestone slab rests beautiful orangish-red (Iron for days!) clay that is decorated with shiny, stark-white limestone pebbles and round river rocks. As mentioned above, the nighttime air keeps this place cold and fresh, while the days are long and rich with direct sun that is kept in check by a constant wind from the Alps.
