VINEYARD DETAILS

Beaujolais Saint Étienne la Varenne “Les Tours” comes from Gamay planted in 1995 on a mild slope 15km south of Fleurie (4km south of Côte de Brouilly) facing east on a thin layer of fine granite topsoil on granite bedrock at ~300 meters altitude.

CELLAR NOTES

Beaujolais Saint Étienne la Varenne Les Tours is a 100% whole cluster, semi-carbonic, natural fermentation and maceration for 3 weeks at 24°C max. and aged in 50% enameled iron tank and 500-liter old French oak with 10ppm (10mg/L) total added sulfites only at bottling, no fining nor filtration.
