About The Wine
Source is 100% Chenin Blanc from a single 0.7-hectare parcel, planted in 2017 at an altitude of 70 m on a flat west-facing slope. The topsoil is a quartz-rich, schist-derived clay over green and black schist bedrock.
The 2022 Source was whole-cluster pressed and naturally fermented in 30 hl steel tanks for 4 days at 23°C maximum, and underwent full malolactic. It was bottled with no added sulfites and was not fined, nor filtered.
